We moved into the terraced house in Macclesfield 4 months ago and it’s finally getting sorted. It was a big move for me as I’ve never lived with a BOY before, but after 2 years of long commutes and only seeing my boyfriend at weekends we decided to take the plunge.

This year was the first time that I’ve been to the London Design Shows, and when I found out that I had to opportunity to go for WORK (!) I was so happy and absolutely buzzing about the trip. I did two of the shows, Decorex and 100% Design.
I've been playing about on Pages and Photoshop to create more realistic room scamps. Although Photoshop is obviously the far superior app of the two, I found that Pages was so easy to use to just put something quick together, no need for layers or much time at all.
Part of my Project 2 of the KLC open learning diploma involves a brief which asks us to decorate a room within our own home with no architectural or budget restrictions.
One of my favourite days of the year (I’m not even kidding!) is the Living Etc House Tours, where Living Etc opens the doors to some of the most fabulous homes in London that have featured in the magazine over the years.
Saturday 6th June was my first outdoor craft fair which took place in Sale Town Centre. What a great day it was, despite the wind (it actually gave me wind burn!) it was such a fun day.
I've always swooned over beautiful round dining tables with interesting leg detail, made out of chunky solid wood with an intense graphic pattern on the surface, I didn't however, like the price of them!
A few months ago I got a call from one of my best friends saying she had some good news. Her boyfriend had offered to treat the three of us (us two, and our other best friend) to flights to New York for our 30th birthdays!
What a great venue for The Vintage Home Show. I'm actually quite sad that I've lived in Manchester for 10 years now, and yesterday was the first time that I'd visited Victoria Baths, it was The Vintage Home Show that drew me in!
The second time that I've been here and I loved it even more than the first time, I would never get bored of visiting Salts Mill. Such an enormous amazing building in a stunning setting with so much to see and learn inside.
I do enjoy a good sunny English day trip revelling in culture and tradition, with an ice cream for good measure - the family day trip to Chatsworth House was nothing short of quintessential.
Saturday 28th September 2013 turned out to be a surprisingly warm and sunny day in Manchester, which made the outing at the The Independent Interiors Show even better.
