Apr 25 HOW I USE PAGES AND PHOTOSHOP FOR MY KLC PROJECT

I've been playing about on Pages and Photoshop to create more realistic room scamps. Although Photoshop is obviously the far superior app of the two, I found that Pages was so easy to use to just put something quick together, no need for layers or much time at all. All of these scamps in the photo were created using Pages and I think the the overall effect is pretty good. I'm still finalising the Photoshop version because there are so many functions and so many things that I can do. Even simple things like inverting the rug to give it perspective, to make it look like a rug that is actually on the floor in a room. Every time I work on Photoshop I see learn something new and before I know it, hours have passed as I've sat and watched a series of YouTube videos on how to use a function in a new way, love it!

If you know me, you’ll know I have a penchant for gloss paint! I’ve wanted to create a red study/library/creative space/very bold room for some time, so having the opportunity to do that in my back bedroom has been a real trip! Although the box bedroom is exactly that (just over 2 meters squared pre- bookcases), I knew that designed well, the wall to wall glossy bookcases would really work in here, regardless of it’s size.

Eating traditional food on holiday, especially in Italy can be a bit stressful for me because I get worried that heat and hunger will get the better of me and fall into a tourist trap. I’m always want the nonnas kitchen vibe, so anything less just won’t do. I wanted to document the lovely things we saw and the tasty (and traditional) places we ate for future trips, as a reminder for me, and (hopefully) of help to you. So here’s a run down of the best places to eat and see in Verona, Sirmione (Lake Garda) and Bologna.
